While machines get more complex due to their increasing range of functions, the requirements of the lighting design are subjected to greater demands. MACH LED PRO is Waldmann Lighting’s machine luminaire that, in spite of compact machine interiors, can provide the optimum illuminance right where it’s needed.
Options in length, installation and lighting area
The MACH LED PRO is available in four lengths to fit any space requirement: 220mm, 395mm, 570mm and 745mm. With each addition in length, another 5-watt LED chip is included for a maximum of 20 watts.
LED technology offers a very high luminance level while taking up a very small amount of space. The mounted version of the MACH LED PRO protrudes out from the machine wall only 2.5”. If even less space is available, the integrated version can be used to mount flat onto the machine wall.
In addition to varying lengths, the MACH LED PRO also offers options to vary the beam angle. The variant design of the MACH LED PRO uses an optic lens to direct the 30 degree beam in a precise direction. Without the lens, the MACH LED PRO will throw out a 150 degree flood light configuration to illuminate the entire machine cavity. Using both options in tandem will allow you to light the machine customized to your needs. The latest LED chip-array technology eliminates shadows and distortion as well.
Durable and robust
LEDs have become a reliable option for lighting concepts. With a 50,000 hour lamp life at 100% operation, the fixture is maintenance-free for six years of 24/7 operation – with luminance reduced a mere 30% after that. Also, the fact that the LED is a solid state product makes it resistant to impact and vibration prevalent in machining environments.
The MACH LED PRO is built tough inside and out. The aluminum anodized housing guides the heat away from the light source to dissipate into the machine area. The 4mm protective glass is impervious to coolants, lubricants, chips or other debris that may be flying around the machine compartment. The MACH LED PRO is rated at an IP67, dust and water resistant - with nitrile rubber sealing plates sealing the anodized aluminum to the machine wall.
Intelligent circuit board
The intelligent electronics of the MACH LED PRO protect the fixture by compensating for reverse polarity or connection errors. Installation errors are thus avoided from the beginning. The circuit board also helps emit the heat from the light source through the aluminum housing and into the ambient air. This prevents the MACH LED PRO from overheating even at ambient temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius.
