BG-PRÜFZERT - Testing and certification bodies of the statutory accident insurance and prevention institution in Germany check working devices for safety, ergonomics and other relevant criteria according to their intended use.
If a task light meets the essential safety requirements defined in European Directives, in particular requirements of the German Industrial Standard DIN 5035, Part 8 regarding lighting engineering, function and ergonomics, it is labelled with the BG-PRÜFZERT-Mark.

The following luminaires of Waldmann are the first office and vdu task lights to be granted this certificate:
