AMBIO is a glare-free technology developed by Waldmann that is precisely customized for fi elds of application in architecture and used exclusively in Waldmann products.

The specifications Em = Medium illuminance and Emax = Maximum illuminance are the result of laboratory measurements at 25 ° C with a burned-in lamp (Waldmann standard) in a closed, black room. These values can therefore differ at the installation site due to measuring tolerances and other environmental conditions.

The color temperature, measured in Kelvin, represents the color impression of a light source.

• Neutral white 3,300 – 5,000 K• Daylight white / cool white > 5,000 K
The maximum value Ra = 100 corresponds to the natural color reproduction of sunlight. Poor color reproduction values for lamps have a negative impact on contrast sensitivity (e.g. for surface inspections, quality inspections, precision work). The colors also look unnatural. Lamps with a minimum color reproduction value of 80 should therefore be used where high / maximum requirements exist for these two features.

With this technology, the punctiform lighting characteristic of LEDs is transformed into extremely homogeneous area light. This new development from Waldmann ensures optimum glare-free lighting.
