Noise, pressure to perform, often physical exertion, even a lack of personnel and a high volume of work are not uncommon in everyday industrial life. In addition, there is little daylight and thus biological darkness during the entire working day. A day in production or assembly can be quite exhausting.
As experts for biodynamic lighting, we have therefore taken on the task of maintaining health and performance in the difficult hall environment. We know that light has a multiple effect and can influence productive work in many ways. High ceiling heights, dirty ceilings and walls, low reflectance levels - every hall is different, especially when refurbished. Working time models are much more complex than in office buildings. Our individually planned biodynamic lighting with VTL for industrial halls can positively support employees in their everyday work.
KNOWING HOW: THE RIGHT LIGHT AT THE RIGHT TIME
During the day, biodynamic lighting with VTL supports employees at industrial workplaces. It satisfies the natural need for light. For this purpose, the artificial light should be oriented to the dynamics of the course of daylight with its changes in illuminance and light colour. But the industrial environment is very complex. Work is not only done during the day. Especially during late and night shifts, the wrong light at the wrong time can cause undesirable biological effects. Long-term negative consequences for health cannot be ruled out according to current knowledge. High illuminance levels in connection with cold light colours are particularly critical. They lead to activation in the late evening or at night with disruption of the inner clock. Illuminance levels required for good vision should rather be implemented at night with warm to neutral white light colours. The right light at the right time needs to be answered individually for each industrial operation. Our experts are here to advise you.
