Office concept 3.0:
ZF is a leading global technology corporation involved in transmission and suspension technology as well as in active and passive safety technology. The company has a payroll staff of 137,000 employed at roughly 230 locations in almost 40 countries. In 2016, ZF achieved annual sales of €35.2 billion. Each year, ZF spends about six percent of its annual sales revenues on research and development to enable it to remain successful in future with innovative products. ZF is one of the largest automotive supplier business in the world.
The new six-storey ZF Forum is the new head office for ZF, comprising 30,000 square metres of gross floor area. The eye-catching design of its office workplaces showcases many futuristic qualities. In addition, the short distances within the company enable colleagues to communicate directly and easily. As well as its many offices, this building is home to various facilities such as an auditorium and a conference area, as well as the ZF Technical Training area, to name just a few of its special features.
The whole of this new
building, constructed in accordance with the very latest and most energy-efficient
criteria, is equipped with the LAVIGO free-standing luminaire from Waldmann.
This streamlined design, combined with highly innovative technology, correlates
with the expectations and principles of ZF. The direct lighting component that
delivers uniform light to each workplace and the indirect component that
provides a pleasing level of background lighting, can both be dimmed
separately. The direct lighting in particular constitutes an individual
component that meets the personal needs of each user. As well as these
criteria, the LAVIGO free-standing luminaire has an easy-to-reach and
multi-functional operating element.
