THE LIGHT OF SUSTAINABILITY - OUR ESG STRATEGY

For us, the focus is above all on people and their needs - this applies to our lighting solutions, to our employees, but also and with regard to social and ecological responsibility. As a family-run company in its fourth generation, it is important to us to act in the interest of future generations. We want to assume responsibility towards society and our employees and make a sustainable contribution to the preservation of an intact environment. Waldmann luminaires are made in Germany - conceived and manufactured in Germany. We produce durable, energy-efficient lighting solutions in Villingen-Schwenningen. This is our clear commitment to Germany as a location and to the Black Forest. We support our employees and are committed to our region.

What does sustainability mean to us?

We understand it as a responsible approach to people and nature, which is reflected in our ESG strategy: our social responsibility (Social), our corporate responsibility (Governance) and our responsibility towards nature and the environment (Environmental).

An eternal cycle of product and materials: a utopia that we are happy to make a reality. We started with LAVIGO, the first office luminaire (light) to be awarded the Cradle to Cradle® certificate. All the products we have come up with since then have been developed according to these Cradle to Cradle® criteria.

But that's not all. In order to continuously optimise our sustainable actions, we have, for example, been certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001 since 2012 and regularly have ourselves assessed by EcoVadis. But this is not the time to rest. By 2028, we will be a climate-neutral company.
